Coach Mark Daigneault continues to be tight-lipped about the matter, refraining from commenting definitively until Williams appears on the official injury report.

However, when questioned about whether Williams would accompany the team on their travels this week – a cleverly worded question intended to potentially elicit a straightforward response – Daigneault did not entirely dismiss the possibility.
“We need to evaluate the situation tomorrow,” Daigneault stated, alluding to Tuesday’s NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. “Our travel plans are contingent; a loss tomorrow, or if Houston were to lose, could alter our itinerary. We’re approaching it one game at a time.”
